Shiatsu Massage

Shiatsu is a bodywork that originated in Japan, utilizing the hands, thumb, finger, elbow, palms, and sometimes feet to apply direct pressure along  energy lines to relieve pain and tension in the body.

A shiatsu therapist applies pressure on the meridian points to promote energy (Qi), relieve stress, pain and contribute to a patient’s overall health and well-being.

What are the instructions/suggestions for clients?

  • It is recommended to maintain a gap of  at least one hour between therapy and food.

  • Avoid getting involved in unnecessary stress work.

  • Eat light, cooked food such as vegetable soup and avoid cold items.

  • Avoid caffeine, Alcohol, try fresh fruit juice and herbal caffeine free teas.

  • Incorporate cooked vegetables, and fresh fruits in your diet.

  • Stay hydrated

  • Set your good schedule with wake up and sleep time

  • Incorporate meditation, pranayama are best cleanser for mind and body

  • During a session,  individuals are fully clothed and loose clothing is recommended
