Shiatsu Massage
Shiatsu is a bodywork that originated in Japan, utilizing the hands, thumb, finger, elbow, palms, and sometimes feet to apply direct pressure along energy lines to relieve pain and tension in the body.
A shiatsu therapist applies pressure on the meridian points to promote energy (Qi), relieve stress, pain and contribute to a patient’s overall health and well-being.
What are the instructions/suggestions for clients?
It is recommended to maintain a gap of at least one hour between therapy and food.
Avoid getting involved in unnecessary stress work.
Eat light, cooked food such as vegetable soup and avoid cold items.
Avoid caffeine, Alcohol, try fresh fruit juice and herbal caffeine free teas.
Incorporate cooked vegetables, and fresh fruits in your diet.

During a session, individuals are fully clothed and loose clothing is recommended
