  • In Sanskrit Ayurveda means “the science of life”- the art and science of living in harmony with the environment around us. Ayurveda is 5000 years old holistic science which provides compassionate, individualized health care. The practice is based on disease prevention and treatment, diet, lifestyle, yoga, pranayama, therapies, herbal formulations to promote a healthy life.

Ayurveda embraces you as whole and acknowledges the connection between mind, body and soul. This holistic medicine aims to restore health by understanding the underlying root causes of the disease. It focuses on you as a person, not as your symptoms. Ayurveda methodology is not a “one size fits for all” approach, completely tailored based on an individual.

  • Ayurveda teaches us to align with nature to heal and harmonize our wellbeing. Ayurvedic consultations aim to focus on the root cause of the disease.  An Ayurvedic consultation is a comprehensive assessment of a client's health. We focus on all the Ayurvedic diagnostic tools which includes going through health history in detail, Pulse diagnosis, tongue, skin ear, eyes & nails analysis.

Based on the assessment of body constitution, digestive strength, and the ama (toxins) level analysis, practitioners can understand the underlying factors and pathogenesis (Samprapti) of the disease. Our approach is to design a personalized treatment protocol which includes  following recommendations which assess the root cause of health concern.

    • Personalized protocol on Diet and Lifestyle management

    • Herbal Protocol

    • Personalized protocol on Pranayama, Meditation, and customized Yoga asanas

    • Guidelines on self abhyanga, Nasya etc. (if required)

    • Educational material, if required

    • Recommendations on Ayurvedic therapies

  • Ayurveda and Yoga both are sister sciences. Ayurveda is a science of life and Yoga means to unite. Ayurveda and Yoga both are targeted to achieve better health through the unity of body, mind, and consciousness.

    ”yoga chitta vritti nirodha”

describes the settled state of mind.

“Sama Dosha Sama Agnischa Sama Dhatu Mala Kriyaaha

Prasanna Atma  Indriya Manaha Swastha Iti Abhidheeyate” Sushruta Samhita

Describes, An individual is in a perfect health when the three doshas (vata, pitta And kapha), digestive Fire ( digestion, assimilation & metabolism), all the body tissues (dhatus), all excretory functions (physiological functions of urination & defecation) are in perfect order with a pleasantly disposed and contented mind, senses and spirit.

Therefore, Ayurveda and Yoga are deeply interrelated by the vital life force called prana. Yoga is perfect for Ayurveda because it rejuvenates the body, removes stress, encourages blood flow, improves digestion. It is always preferred to create a customized yoga sequence based on the dosha.
